Okay. I know that many of you will know how to do this, but I'm helping out my fellow noobs and sorta-noobs here. So bear with me here.
It took me AGES to figure out how to embed links into my comments on other people's blogs. Mostly because I'm daft, partly because I'm too lazy to Google stuff =)
It is so so SO simple. All you have to do is use the javatext below, replacing "URL" with your URL, and "Title" with whatever you want to show up on the comment. For example, "My Blog", or "My IMM" etc.
IMPORTANT: You must also remove the spaces! I've had to put them in here as otherwise it won't post the text! :)
That's it! Simple, eh?
Hope I've helped some newbies who get as lost with Java as I do!

Very clever but I am not sure I like links in my comments. You need to change my url in the sidebar too thank you for including me :D
ReplyDeleteOk so this is my trial...lol
ReplyDeleteOh, wow...I think it worked...lol Thank you :D
ReplyDeleteYou know something. You are a real hero. You make us think, make us laugh, and entertain us so well. I real have a great time when I visit your blog.
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a great post. You seem to have done an extensive research on the topic, and now we are enjoying the result.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the love, all! Just glad I could help. I'm particularly glad your test worked, Wookie! If it had failed I would have been the one to look like a muppet! He he.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I actually know how to create a link but I get lazy sometimes. Bad me.

ReplyDeleteIt is telling me HTML cannot be accepted. Closing tag has no matching opening tag: A
TITLE
and

@ Marce. That's strange. You pasted the URL address over there it says URL, gave your post a title and deleted all the spaces? As long as you do that it should work just fine!
ReplyDeleteIt's a copy and past job so I have Noooooo idea what's happened! I shall get back to you with answers ASAP.
AH HA! I figured it out! My own silly fault. I added spaces around URL and TITLE which needed to be deleted. The space before href STAYS!
ReplyDeleteApologies. Hope it works for you now :)
You are sweet for checking back, thank you. My laptop light broke, I'm on iPad which only works for commenting so I'll be back. Thanks again
